Commissions
Hi,
Thanks for considering me for a commission piece.
Sometimes the idea of a commission is scary - what am I getting? How much will it be?… – questions I would ask if I was getting a picture created for myself.
Below details how I hope to answer those questions but if you have any more then please just drop me a line.
What you get
In summary, you will get a picture of your beloved pet(s) or animal of choice at a size of your choice.
I use carbon pencils to create detailed black and white images using only the best materials. Each image is drawn on beautiful 300gsm, fabriano artistico watercolour paper.
The image would be rolled and posted to you free of charge, but if you would like it mounted or framed then please drop me a line and we can discuss me getting a quote based on your specific needs. Postage of framed or mounted items will be charged.
Pricing
I have laid out my pricing below so that there is no awkwardness for you when we have a chat. You can see what I charge and a few examples of the sort of thing you will get below. Please note that these are sheet sizes and the image will be positioned to suit with clear space around. I do not charge VAT, so the price below is the final price.

Once we have confirmed a price and timeframe for completing the drawing I will issue a non-refundable invoice for 30% of the total charge to diarise your slot. This will need to be paid prior to commencement of works.
What I will need from you
Please send me a high resolution image, in good natural light, of your favoured pet or animal. I specialize in portraits (head and shoulders – no dandruff) so please focus on this element of the animal. If you are after something a bit different then please drop me a line and we can chat through.
If you are interested in a wildlife image that I haven’t already drawn then I can source a reference photo that you might like or you can choose one (There are loads of online image resources out there to purchase images from).
Thank you
I hope the above helps and thank you again for thinking of me when it comes to something so special as a commission.
